How systematic trading actually works
Three principles that separate traders who last from traders who blow up.
A good trade executed on a bad setup is still a bad trade. Judge every decision by the process, not the result. The market rewards consistency, not luck.
Define your maximum loss before you think about potential gains. 1% risk per trade is not a suggestion — it is the rule that keeps you in the game long enough to win.
If a trade feels exciting, that’s a red flag. The best setups are obvious, clean, and almost boring. Excitement in trading usually means you are about to make a mistake.
